My name is Willow and I live in North Herefordshire, UK, with my partner, our son and our two spaniels, Benji and Archie. As well as drawing I also enjoy the outdoors and we often go camping and walking with the dogs.
I currently only work in coloured pencils but hope to explore different mediums in the future. I have always been passionate about art and finally took the step to becoming a self employed commission based artist in late 2013, and I haven’t looked back since. I still work part time but I hope one day this will become my full time job.
I love seeing everyone’s beautiful pets, this is why I’m so passionate doing my portraits, I get to see all your lovely pictures, hear all the wonderful stories about them. By the end of the portrait process, all those hours staring into their eyes, I feel as if I knew them myself. Drawing the beloved pets that have passed is the hardest part of the job, but I hope to give comfort to my client and in the end they will have lovely keepsake to remind them of the happy memories that they need reminding of, as these are the most important.
